It was a good class, very informative, informative to the point that you do understand the great responsibility that goes along with the privilege of conceal and carry. And understanding that the Illinois laws are not gun friendly and not necessary on our side. Always try to avoid the threat, but if we can't, we now have opportunity and tools to live another day.

Good Morning,

I wanted to send a complimentary letter regarding the instruction by Wayne Inzerello during the Day 2 CCL course I attended this past weekend.

As a former police officer, I’ve had the opportunity to attend numerous tactical and law related trainings. Wayne led an outstanding class.

It’s not atypical for students to browse their phones during training – often finding the material or instructor less than interesting or useful. This was not the case during our instruction. I observed the room multiple times and found everyone was actively engaged. Wayne’s material was up-to-date, included case law and real life examples to assist with understanding, and was rounded out with appropriate humor, which kept students focused. And likely because they knew Wayne, through his presentation of his expectations, would not put up with anything less than full attention on a life or death topic.

I felt safe during our range experience due to Wayne’s stringent rules for safety and operation during our qualification phase, and commend him on his ability to communicate and lead a large group in what could be a dangerous exercise.

You are undoubtedly already aware of his skill set and professionalism based on his position at your range and the number of trainings he provides. But, I wanted him to be recognized anyway.

Thank you for including a well-organized class as such as part of your offerings in this community. Your fingerprint and insurance representatives were wonderful as well.

Wayne is a great teacher! He stressed the importance and serious responsibility that goes along with the concealed carry permit. I like that he didn’t hold back or candy coat what happens when you you’re faced with the decision to use your weapon. He shared several stories with us as to the consequences of our actions if we do are faced with a shooting. He strongly suggested we continue our training and to take classes to become as proficient as we can.

Since I am intermediate user with guns and how to use them all training is excellent for me to gain knowledge. A question was asked how much training do I need, my answer is for the rest of my life. If I'm ever in a situation I want to be prepared to defend myself in a logical, non-emotional way. Wayne and Neil are excellent instructor at Fox valley shooting range located in Elgin IL.

Wayne was a great instructor! He put things in terms that the kids understood, and stressed the importance of safety at all times. He gave clear and concise instructions so that the kids understood exactly what they were to do and when they were to do it. He was patient and really paid attention to the kids needs. He guided/corrected them as needed an in appropriate and helpful manner. I would highly recommend this youth course!

The truth is that I have been surprised by the type of person that instructor Wayne Inzerello is. I come from Puerto Rico and worked for 17 years as a Correctional Officer, therefore in P.R. We have to qualify each year with our service weapon. I had NOT yet found an instructor who gave the importance and respect to a class as he does. I am very extremely satisfied and I am glad for having had the opportunity to make the decision to have been trained by Wayne Inzerello, and the truth is that I will be aware of all the training that he gives to take them.

It gives you the opportunity to do things you can not usually do at the range. You need to attend the first four classes to sign up. Wayne does a great job of noticing details of all aspects of a students skill set and areas for improvement, including grip, draw, stance, sight lines, split-times, safety, situational awareness etc…He communicates very clearly and takes his role with an appropriate level of seriousness but still makes the class enjoyable. I learned a lot new skills and reinforced some good habits. I also have a game plan for continuing to improve and train. This is my second class with Wayne and I feel lucky to have him teaching the class.

Excellent training opportunity. Scenarios made you really think about your firearm handling technique. Instructor suggestions on how to further improve were tailored to each student. Great class!

Wayne did an amazing job covering all the required points in the class but went beyond the requirements to give the class important information that should be required. As well as had a individual come in to do fingerprints which is a huge time saver. I would absolutely recommend taking any class with Wayne.

I want to thank you for the very informative class I just completed and applying for my carry permit. The class made me rethink my desire to carry. I'm glad I am going to have the permit but I will not use it without a lot more pratice and additional training. I have been shooting guns for about 60 years but never on a regular basis. My only official training before your class was Army basis training. Now I know how much more I need to move forward.

Great instructor. My first CC class was taught by an ex-Federal agent. I love the fact that that Wayne took gun safety very serious. He’s very detailed in explaining gun laws, gun safety and the responsibility of gun ownership. I hope Wayne will be teaching this class in the next five years because I will be taking his class again.

My wife and I took the concealed carry class with Wayne Inzerello over the weekend.  All I can say is it was amazing.  He took the time to thoroughly explain all aspects of firearm safety and the law pertaining to concealed carry in Illinois and taught at a pace that was engaging to all in the class.  Plenty of time for questions and answers as there should be.  If you are thinking about taking a concealed carry course regardless of your prior experience with firearms,  this one is great.
